I want to thank everyone for helping to make Yoga On The Block successful this past month! Classes are going well. As winter arrives and the days get shorter, I am moving my Wednesday 6-7 pm Yoga Class to afternoons. This class will be at 1:00 pm beginning next Wednesday, October 5 and will be "Stretching and Strengthening with Gentle Yoga". The class will be for all levels. Please bring light hand weights (2-3 lbs.). All other class times remain the same. Here is what our new Yoga On The Block Schedule looks like at present: Mondays 4:45-5:45 pm Yoga Flow with Martha 6-7 pm Gentle Yoga with Chair Adaptations with Ann Wednesdays 1:00-2:00 pm Stretching and Strengthening with Gentle Yoga with Martha *NEW 4:45-5:45 pm Yoga Flow with Ann Thursdays 4:45:5:45pm Yoga Flow with Ann 6:15-7:15 pm Zumba with Margaret Be sure to visit our website: yogaontheblock.com for the latest news and updates! If you attended the Apple Festival Parade on Saturday you might have seen us out in full force walking the streets wearing our Yoga On The Block T-shirts and handing out flyers. We received some really good interest in the new studio and are looking forward to some new members! Let me know if you would like a T-shirt, if I get at least 12 orders, I can have more shirts printed! Cost is $15. Since attendance for Monday's 6-7 pm class has been low, we would like to see how many of you might be interested in having a Strength, Stability & Flexibility Class with Ann using a stability ball and light hand weights? Students would need to bring their own stability ball as well as hand weights. The cost would be the same as the Yoga classes, we would just substitute this class for the 6-7 pm Yoga if there is enough interest. We will continue to have the earlier Monday Yoga class with Martha from 4:45-5:45 pm. We will not make any changes until we know how much interest we have in the new class so please email me at [email protected] and let me know your thoughts. Don't forget about Ann's new Thursday evening Yoga class 4:45-5:45pm and Margaret Anderson's Zumba class on Thursdays from 6:15-7:15 pm. Please come and check out our beautiful space, complete with chandelier! Ann and I are so excited to be teaching here. Yoga students find it very comfortable, serene, and relaxing.
Please enter in our side door (it’s black) that faces 14th street and our parking lot. We will have signs up soon! We share our building with The White House hair salon that also recently opened. The White House salon is in front, and we are in the back. I’m also proud to announce that Margaret Anderson will be joining us next week (beginning Sept. 8) to teach Zumba classes on Thursday evenings 6:15-7:15 pm.
