Stretching and Strengthening with Gentle Yoga

Mondays 10:00 am - 11:30 am with Martha
​Wednesdays 10:00 am - 11:00 am with Martha

​This is a hybrid class the begins with stretching and strengthening exercises using exercise bands, balls and light hand weights. Both the upper and lower body are worked for 30 minutes. The second half of the class utilizes gentle Yoga poses and ends with breathing and relaxation.

Sit/Stand Yoga with Chair and Barre Support

Mondays 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with Annie
Fridays 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with Annie
This class is perfect for beginners, or anyone with joint, balance, mobility, or strength challenges.  Class can be done mostly standing, mostly sitting, or a combination. Our safe flow of movement includes stretching, balance and agility, strength-building, breathing techniques, relaxation, and even a little dance! ​

​Mindful Movement

Mondays 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm with Thea

​This class is based around a slower and more accessible sequence with chair modifications available.

Slow Flow

Tuesdays 9:00 am - 10:40 am with Annie

Slow Flow is a slower-paced hatha yoga class that infuses a traditional alignment-based flow with tai-chi, organic dance, breathwork, and pilates.  The unhurried pace and meditative ambiance allow you to warm up your muscles gradually and tune in to your body.  You’ll mindfully strengthen, stretch, balance, and recenter in a supportive class that brings you home to yourself.​

Beginning Gentle Yoga

Tuesdays 10:00 am - 11:00 am with Martha (Willisville Community Center)

Both morning and evening classes will start with breath awareness, posture and balance. Moving on to gentle Yoga poses in standing, seated and lying positions. We will end with a 10 minute relaxation.  All classes are $10 each. Cash and checks accepted. No credit cards. First class is free. Please bring a Yoga mat and small towel or small blanket to support head during relaxation.  Wear comfortable clothing.

Chair Yoga

Wednesdays 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with Martha

This class is designed for those who have difficulty maintaining standing postures due to strength, balance or mobility. All Yoga postures are done while seated using both upper and lower body and focusing on stretching, strengthening, breathing and ending with relaxation.

​Peak Pose

Thursdays 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm with Thea

In this class a more advanced pose will be chosen for the month, and we will practice the same sequence every week with a goal of bettering our alignment, strength, flexibility, and mobility.

​Surya Flow

Fridays 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm with Thea

​This class will feature a faster paced Vinyasa inspired sequence including sun salutations. ​
