Stretching and Strengthening with Gentle Yoga

This is a hybrid class the begins with stretching and strengthening exercises using exercise bands, balls and light hand weights. Both the upper and lower body are worked for 30 minutes. The second half of the class utilizes gentle Yoga poses and ends with breathing and relaxation.

Chair Yoga

Our Chair Yoga is a modified form of yoga done from a seated position in a chair, or if you choose, incorporating some standing with a chair handy for support. In this class you’ll experience gentle and safe movements that will help you regain strength, improve your flexibility, mobility, coordination, and confidence. As our bodies reconnect to our minds and emotions, new feedback loops are formed in the brain, and we build inner trust and self-assurance. This class is perfect for seniors and anyone with chronic pain or limited mobility.

After Work Flow

This lively class synchronizes the movements of the breath with a dynamic flow of connected tai-chi and yoga postures. We also include a section of class devoted to strength training, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Adaptations and modifications of all movements are offered so students of any experience level can participate.

Slow Flow is a slower-paced class that pairs deep breathing with a safe, aligned, and gentle sequence of yoga postures. The unhurried pace and meditative ambiance allow you to warm up your muscles gradually and tune in to your body. You’ll mindfully strengthen, stretch, balance, and recenter in a supportive class that brings you home to yourself.
